	October is National Pastor Appreciation Month ~ Pastor Appreciation National Day of Honoring is always celebrated on the second Sunday in October. This year it is October 8th. Clergy Appreciation Month was established in 1992. The mission is to uplift and encourage pastors, missionaries and religious workers by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support.
	October 18th ~ 6:00pm We will be having our monthly dinner fellowship before the prayer service. This months dinner is Harvest Soup and Bread, followed by dessert. The prayer service will be immediately following the dinner fellowship time, at 7:00pm.
	October 27th - 28th ~ 30 Hour Famine Night begins at 5pm on the 27th, at the church and will end 7pm the 28th. Our teens will be fasting for 30 hours to help raise money for starving children in Africa. If you have not already donated, please see one of our teens and ask how you can help! TEENS: Don't forget to start fasting at 1:00pm on the 27th!
	October 31st ~ Aftershock Harvest Party! We will begin at 6:00pm at the church for a time of fun and fellowship and will end with a time of street evangelism at 8:00pm. Come for the fun (please do not dress up!)
